Short Description:
The study focusses on causal effects of the statutory minimum wage on employment and unemployment. The previously available results about the short- and medium-term effects of the minimum wage are extended until the year 2020. The analysis distinguishes between different forms of employment, socio-demographic and regional characteristics, as well as economic sectors. The data used comes from the employment statistics of the Federal Employment Agency.
